Featured Store: Artist Ryan Allen
Every Tues we showcase a Cartfly store to share how a variety of people are using our tools for their online businesses. It's a fun way for us to get to know our merchants, and a great way for everyone to learn from each other. If you have a Cartfly store and would like to be featured here, please drop us a note!
Introducing: Ryan Allen
Ryan Allen loves to paint, although graphic design, web programming, product design and many other things pay the bills. He got out of painting for a while and jumped back in with both feet a year or so ago. He has sold over 120 paintings in the last 10 months and currently has over a dozen commissions.
Ryan uses his website as the main portal for his business. Incorporated is also a blog and his Cartfly store. He tries to paint every night and his weekends are pretty much consumed with it. Ryan says, "The fact that I can make money doing a hobby is just about the coolest thing ever."
Ryan is also a Gawker Artist where his work is promoted across the full line of Gawker Media owned websites which receive 20 million unique visits per month. If you are an artist looking for more outlets for your work, this looks like a solid option with sites like Jezebel, Gizmodo, Defamer and Valleywag.
